Sandy Shively started at NCPC as an Economic Development Coordinator in 2010. In May 2013 she was named as the Executive Director. Sandy graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management.
Sandy has worked for non-profits for over 25 years and has 14 years management experience. She currently serves as a board member for the Rural Economic Area Partnership Investment Board and has served on a number of boards over the years. In 2014 Sandy completed The National Development Council training to become a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional.

Kristen Jacobson has been the Financial Officer for North Central Planning Council since March of 2012. She graduated from Mayville State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Before joining our office, Kristen worked as a Bookkeeper at Harlow Coop Elevator in Harlow and as Operations Coordinator in the Preprocess Department at Noridian in Leeds.
Kristen is an active member of the community. For the past several years she has served as the bookkeeper for the Leeds Park Board and helps them with various fundraisers throughout the year. She was also part of the Horizons program to help better her community and became a certified trainer for the Leadership Plenty program.

Ashley Louw is currently the Grant Coordinator/SBDC Advisor at NCPC. Ashley graduated with her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Minnesota School of Business. In August of 2019, she went back to school to obtain her Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration online through Mayville State University. Prior to joining NCPC, Ashley worked as a Director of Services with Community Options for 6 years, overseeing the Devils Lake and Grand Forks offices ensuring that all customers needs were met in meeting their own goals of self-sufficiency. Prior to that, Ashley worked management in the retail industry for 10 ½ years with the same organization between North Dakota and Minnesota locations.
